Sports & Recreation The earliest recreational development of air-supported structures was to temporarily enclose single tennis courts and swimming pools, and these applications are still their most familiar uses. Arizon, however, has expanded these recreational uses into many other areas due to our proprietary Johnson Air Rotation technology and our unique Arizon Cable Grid System, which enable an unlimited, column-free or support-free span required by: • Auto race tracks • Ice arenas • Indoor golf driving ranges • Aquatic centers • Soccer, football, baseball, softball, track, lacrosse, basketball, tennis and swimming facilities • Multi-sport facilities: • Tennis domes • Soccor domes • Many other recreational facilities Our President designed the largest baseball academy in the world; our Director of Engineering has designed, manufactured and installed olympic air structures for the Korean and Chinese Olympics. More recently, Arizon is unveiling the largest air structure in North America for soccer and other uses. National and state governments, municipalities, park districts, school districts, counties and other governmental and public entities throughout the world are expected to provide recreational and sports domes for their citizens. The quality and size of these complexes varies dramatically based on the demographics and affluence of the citizenry. However, the never-ending demand for additional leisure activities and the lack of resources to accommodate this demand provides an opportunity for both public and private enterprise to supply air structures to meet these needs. |
